ABOUT: Scene Study digs deeper. The purpose of this class is for the serious young actor to concentrate on acting: listening, reacting, trust, relationships and feelings. Any student applying for this class must be highly motivated and very interested in becoming a better actor through technical group, partner and solo acting exercises, journal writing and homework, and working closely with a scene partner.
*All students will play young people, but these scenes may have heavy topics such as death, divorce, bullying, identity, domestic/substance abuse, or relationships/crushes. Some of our past scenes: Antigone, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Bridge to Terabithia, The Diary of Anne Frank, Sense and Sensibility, Romeo and Juliet, The Glass Menagerie, She Kills Monsters, Our Town, Peter and the Starcatcher
